BEIRUT – Despite the torrent of claims by the Zionists that Hezbollah has been dismantled and its military capabilities have been drastically weakened following the \u201cPager & Walkie-Talkie Massacre\u201d, the assassination of the commanders of Al-Rodwan Force and the movement\u2019s leader Sayyed Nasrallah along with his senior consultants,\u00a0 Hezbollah targeted – with a squadron of attack drones – a camp for the Golani Brigades in Binyamina, south of Haifa with the cry: \u201cWe are at your service, o Sayyed Nasrallah.\u201d<\/p>\n
The qualitative Binyamina Operation is in response to the genocidal massacres committed by the occupation regime in Lebanon and less than a month after the surprise attacks on Hezbollah, which confirms once again the resistance\u2019s ability to revive and continue fighting within an effective and exceptional \u201ccommand and control\u201d system.<\/p>\n
The success of the drone in reaching its target south of Haifa to hit a Zionist military base immediately after Hezbollah\u2019s military media broadcasted a video letter from the fighters to their martyred leader, Sayyed Nasrallah, pledging to serve the resistance.<\/p>\n
Besides, the attack coincides with a series of daily operations to repel ground invasion by four Israeli divisions.\u00a0 (The ground invasion has so far resulted in the death and injury of more than 100 Israeli soldiers as Hezbollah launches no less than 200 rockets against Israeli military bases on a daily basis).<\/p>\n
The Binyamina Operation has also proven that the aggression against Lebanon was not and will not be as easy as imagined by Washington and its proxy Israel, as Hezbollah has currently plunged them into a war of attrition that will burden the colonial entity.<\/p>\n
Two issues should also be taken into account: the \u201cHaredim\u201d refusal to enlist in the occupation army and the\u00a0refusal by reserve soldiers to extend their service period. This would directly dispel the Zionist boasting about the alleged achievements in confronting Hezbollah. It also lays bare the recurrent US lie that Lebanon has entered a new phase in which Hezbollah no longer exists. This alone reveals Washington\u2019s full involvement in the current war against Lebanon.<\/p>\n
The Binyamina Operation has warmed the hearts and strengthened the people\u2019s steadfastness, as Sayyed Nasrallah used to call them. It will also strengthen the strength of Hezbollah fighters to continue fighting.<\/p>\n
The consecutive statements by Hezbollah\u2019s military media continue to confirm the resistance’s intention to displace more settlers from northern occupied Palestinian territories, and that they will not be allowed to return except in the event of a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon. Hezbollah also continues to target infantry gatherings and military and espionage equipment on the border with the northern occupied territories.<\/p>\n
Indeed, the Binyamina Operation has taken place amid anticipation of the response to Iran, as many Zionist leaders – including former war minister Avigdor Lieberman and former prime minister Naftali Bennett – are calling for seizing the opportunity of what they call \u201cHezbollah\u2019s retreat\u201d to target Iranian nuclear facilities and oil fields, as they stupidly believe that Iran has lost one of its most prominent deterrent tools.<\/p>\n
In the same context, the Pentagon has announced that it will send 100 American soldiers to the occupied Palestinian territories to operate the THAAD anti-missile systems to protect the \u201cweaker than a spider\u2019s web\u201d, in anticipation of an expected \u201cTrue Promise 3\u201d operation by Iran in response to the awaited Israeli attack.<\/p>\n
\u201cWeaker than a spider\u2019s web\u201d is a reference to a\u00a0Quranic verse that Martr Hezbollah leader Nasrallah used for Israel.<\/p>\n
However, the Benjamina Operation has proven that Hezbollah can still use military tactics that even the THAAD system (the most advanced of its kind in the world) will find difficult to intercept.<\/p>\n
The Binyamina Operation took place only one day after the visit of the Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, to Beirut in a plane he personally piloted – despite the dangerous situation, along with visiting one of Beirut\u2019s suburbs, which was targeted by the US-Zionist air raids. It also took place days after the visit of Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi. These visits – at this critical time – demonstrate the sincerity of Iranian diplomacy and support for the Lebanese people.<\/p>\n
In a study published in August 2024 entitled \u201cA Revolution in One-Way Attack Drones: High Precision at Affordable Prices in Modern Conflicts,\u201d Marcel Blichta and A. Sh. Rossiter consider that the low cost of producing drones has encouraged their increased production, allowing the warring parties the opportunity to strike specific and sensitive targets from long, rugged distances and with easy logistical capabilities. Shooting down a drone – which costs a few thousand dollars – requires intercepting it using missiles – which cost about a million dollars – and this in itself is a helping factor for Hezbollah.<\/p>\n
Thanks to such drones, all factions in the Axis of Resistance have become capable of launching air strikes on fixed and moving targets with high precision at low cost and in depth covering all occupied Palestinian territories.\u00a0 In a study by the Washington Institute for Near East Affairs (affiliated with the Zionist lobby \/ aka AIPAC) entitled \u201cCounter-Bombing: Iran and the Rise of Asymmetric Drone Warfare in the Middle East\u201d, former Central Command Commander General Kenneth McKenzie believes that – thanks to drones – the air superiority that the United States has enjoyed since World War II has become a thing of the past.<\/p>\n
Obviously, the Binyamina Operation will undermine the factor of security of all colonial settlers. Despite the US open support, the colonial Israeli entity is threatened daily by missiles from Lebanon, Yemen, Iran and Iraq, and is threatened by the legendary steadfast resistance in Gaza, and the West Bank. On daily basis, these colonial occupiers are anticipating threats wherever they are.<\/p>\n
The security factor, on which the occupying entity was founded, was crushed on the glorious morning of October 7, 2023. Thanks to open Iranian support, the resistance that began with stones, knives and light weapons, is now using drones, ballistic missiles and guided missiles, undermining the US-led Zionist hegemonic project, and thus ensuring the security of the free, indigenous and honorable people not only in West Asia but the entire world.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
