{"id":1117,"date":"2024-10-15T11:44:13","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T08:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.hamsonews.com\/non-oil-export-from-khuzestan-increases-40\/"},"modified":"2024-10-15T11:44:13","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T08:14:13","slug":"non-oil-export-from-khuzestan-increases-40","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hamsonews.com\/en\/non-oil-export-from-khuzestan-increases-40\/","title":{"rendered":"Non-oil export from Khuzestan increases 40%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tehrantimes.com\/d\/t\/2024\/10\/15\/4\/5206963.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p class=\"summary\">TEHRAN- The value of non-oil exports from Khuzestan province in the southwest of Iran increased by 40 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20-September 21), as compared to the same period of time in the past year, a provincial official announced.<\/p>\n<p>Behrouz Qarehbeygi, an official with the customs department of the province, said that 10.463 million tons of non-oil goods worth $3.684 billion were exported from the province in the six-month period, indicating also eight percent rise in terms of weight year on year.<\/p>\n<p>He further announced that 7.613 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $4.164 billion were imported to the province in the first six months of the present year, showing 13 percent growth in terms of weight as compared to the same period of time in the previous year, while no change in value.<\/p>\n<p>As previously announced by the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the value of Iran\u2019s non-oil exports increased by 6.5 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year, as compared to the same period of time in the past year.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammad Rezvanifar said that the country exported 70 million tons of non-oil products valued at $25.8 billion during the first half of this year, also indicating 3.5 percent growth in terms of weight, year on year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the IRICA head, Iran also exported $23.2 billion of oil and $600 million of technical and engineering services during the mentioned period, boosting the country&#8217;s total exports to $49.6 billion.<\/p>\n<p>During this period, the imports reached $32.6 billion, including $2.5 billion of gold bullion.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that the country&#8217;s total trade exchange during the first half of the current year was $82.2 billion, he added: \u201cDuring this period, the trade balance of the country without oil and technical and engineering services was 6.8 billion dollars negative, and taking into account oil and technical and engineering services, it was 17 billion dollars positive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe average value per ton of export goods increased by three percent to $366 in the first six months of this year,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>China with $7.2 billion, Iraq with $5.2 billion, United Arab Emirates with $3.4 billion, Turkey with $2.4 billion, Afghanistan with $1.1 billion, Pakistan with $1.0 billion, and India with $900 million were the main export destinations of Iranian goods during the mentioned period.<\/p>\n<p>These seven countries accounted for 81 percent of the weight and 82 percent of the total value of Iran\u2019s exports, according to Rezvanifar.<\/p>\n<p>The UAE with $10 billion, China with $8.5 billion, Turkey with $5.1 billion, Germany with $1.2 billion, the Russian Federation and India with $800 million each, and Hong Kong with $600 million were also the top sources of imports for Iran in the first half of the current year.<\/p>\n<p>China, UAE, and Turkey were Iran\u2019s top trading partners in the mentioned six months, Rezvanifar said.<\/p>\n<p>MA<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tehrantimes.com\/news\/505007\/Non-oil-export-from-Khuzestan-increases-40\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN- The value of non-oil exports from Khuzestan province in the southwest of Iran increased by 40 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20-September 21), as compared to the same period of time in the past year, a provincial official announced.
