{"id":119,"date":"2024-10-06T19:24:07","date_gmt":"2024-10-06T15:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.hamsonews.com\/oil-minister-visits-kharg-to-check-oil-installations-security\/"},"modified":"2024-10-06T19:24:07","modified_gmt":"2024-10-06T15:54:07","slug":"oil-minister-visits-kharg-to-check-oil-installations-security","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hamsonews.com\/en\/oil-minister-visits-kharg-to-check-oil-installations-security\/","title":{"rendered":"Oil minister visits Kharg to check oil installations security"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tehrantimes.com\/d\/t\/2024\/10\/06\/4\/5195330.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p class=\"summary\">TEHRAN- Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad arrived in Kharg island, in the Persian Gulf, on Sunday to visit the hub of Iran\u2019s oil exports and meet the employees of the island\u2019s operational zone, in the second day of his visit to Bushehr province, in southwest of Iran.<\/p>\n<p>In the first day of his trip to Bushehr, Paknejad had visited oil platforms, gas refineries, a petrochemical unit, a power plant, a petrochemical terminal, and a port in Assalouyeh, which is the hub of Iran\u2019s petrochemical industry.<\/p>\n<p>In a meeting with General Mohammad-Hossein Bargahi, the commander of the fourth region of the naval force of the Islamic Revolution Guard\u00a0Corps\u00a0(IRGC) in the south of Bushehr province, while expressing his satisfaction with the made cooperation, the oil minister appreciated the fourth command center for its continuous efforts to maintain the security of South Pars platforms and its outstanding role in production stability.<\/p>\n<p>This meeting was held in order to check the security of South Pars platforms and to receive the report on the effective actions of the fourth command center in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIRGC plays a significant role in in the security of oil and gas installations\u201d, Paknejad emphasized in the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Having modern infrastructures including wharves, loading arms, flow pipelines, storage tanks and measurement systems, Kharg terminal plays a significant role in the country\u2019s oil industry in terms of crude oil storage and export and helping to complete the oil and gas value chain.<\/p>\n<p>Due to its close distance to oilfield regions, its good offshore position and suitable depth for gigantic oil vessels berthing, Kharg Island Oil Terminal has been recognized as one of the country\u2019s most suitable places for crude oil export and loading sites.<\/p>\n<p>Kharg has the ability to simultaneously berth nine oil tankers with different capacities.<\/p>\n<p>It also has the possibility of storing more than 23 million barrels of crude oil and delivering more than 10 million barrels of crude oil to customers per day.<\/p>\n<p>MA<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tehrantimes.com\/news\/504631\/Oil-minister-visits-Kharg-to-check-oil-installations-security\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN- Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad arrived in Kharg island, in the Persian Gulf, on Sunday to visit the hub of Iran\u2019s oil exports and meet the employees of the island\u2019s operational zone, in the second day of his visit to Bushehr province, in southwest of Iran.
