The march was organized by Tehran’s 27th Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces\u00a0Mohammad Rasulullah Division with the participation of IRGC members, voluntary Basij forces and ordinary people who advocate Palestinian resistance.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The large-scale exercise involved 110,000 members of the Iranian Basij (volunteer) forces.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The drill, designed as a cultural and combat exercise, has been a part of the Payambar-e Azam (The Great Prophet) 19 war game recently held in the country.<\/p>\n
A series of defense equipment were displayed in the massive drill.<\/p>\n
The organizers said the purpose of the drill is to maintain the preparedness of Basij forces to combat all threats, strengthen coordination, and develop professional skills in countering terrorist operations, protecting the urban neighborhoods, and providing rescue and relief services.<\/p>\n
The Iranian Armed Forces have launched several war games in recent days.<\/p>\n
Iranian officials have repeatedly underscored that the country will not hesitate to strengthen its military capabilities, including its missile power, which are entirely meant for defense, and that Iran\u2019s defense capabilities will never be subject to negotiations.<\/p>\n
