We are in touch with their families,\u201d\u00a0Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said on Friday in a weekly briefing, NDTV reported<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have taken up the matter with the Iranian Embassy in Delhi and with the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran,\u201d said\u00a0Jaiswal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He added that India\u2019s Foreign Ministry and its embassy in Tehran remain in touch with Iranian authorities and have requested their assistance in locating the missing nationals and ensuring their safety.<\/p>\n<p>The three missing Indians were identified as Yogesh Panchal, Mohammad Sadeeque, and Sumeet Sud.<\/p>\n<p>According to Indian media outlets, Panchal had recently started an export firm dealing in dry fruit and apple and took a flight from Mumbai to Tehran on December 5 to explore business opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Sadeeque had also traveled to Iran in December 2024, while Sud traveled to the country in early January.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>SD\/<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/en.mehrnews.com\/news\/227728\/India-seeks-Iran-s-assistance-after-3-nationals-go-missing\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cThree Indian nationals who had gone to Iran for business purposes are missing.
