The delegation included Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini, Mohsen Qomi, and Sayyid Reza Taqavi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">High-ranking commanders from the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), including Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, IRGC Deputy Commander-in-Chief, and Brigadier General Eraj Masjedi, Deputy Coordinator of the IRGC Quds Force, were also present.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, though not physically present, praised the \u201cgreat Lebanese nation\u201d in a statement, urging it to \u201ctake pride in its brave sons\u2014these noble leaders who upheld their covenant, defended our ummah\u2019s honor, and embraced martyrdom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Several more Iranian officials took to social media to pay their respects to the fallen leaders and hailed them for their long and dignified fight against Israeli occupation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Ghalibaf: \u2018Hezbollah stands taller and more resilient\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Addressing reporters at Beirut International Airport, Speaker Ghalibaf reflected on Lebanon\u2019s transformation since his visit four months earlier, when Israeli airstrikes had plunged the country into chaos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u201cDuring my last visit, Beirut was engulfed in smoke and fire as Zionist missiles rained down from the sky. Yet despite it all, Hezbollah stands taller and more resilient,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Ghalibaf highlighted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s failed threats to \u201coccupy Lebanon and destroy Gaza,\u201d adding, \u201cToday, Gazans return to their homes\u2014though reduced to rubble\u2014and the Zionist regime has been expelled from southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u201cStability now reigns, and Iran will support any consensus forged by Lebanon\u2019s government, parliament, Resistance, and people,\u201d the top parliamentarian concluded.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Araghchi: \u2018Final victory awaits Lebanon\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Foreign Minister Araghchi, speaking to the press, said the massive funeral is a defiant message to the Israeli regime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\u201cThis procession proves resistance is alive, Hezbollah is alive, and its ideals endure,\u201d he asserted, honoring Nasrallah and Safieddine as \u201cchampions who liberated lands and shattered occupation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Araghchi vowed Iran would remain \u201ca drop in the ocean of Lebanon\u2019s resistance,\u201d adding, \u201cJust as we\u2019ve triumphed before, final victory awaits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Additionally, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei highlighted the massive turnout at the funeral in an interview, calling it a testament to Lebanon\u2019s \u201cunbreakable spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Recalling his visit five months prior amid Israeli bombardment, he noted, \u201cBack then, Lebanon suffered under Zionist fire. Today, its streets pulse with Hezbollah flags and resolve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Also in a post on X, Baqaei eulogized the martyrs as \u201cimmortal symbols of dignity,\u201d writing, \u201cTheir sacrifice for Palestine\u2019s freedom and Lebanon\u2019s sovereignty will inspire all who seek justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Additionally, IRGC\u2019s Deputy Commander-in-Chief, General Fadavi, on the sidelines of the ceremony, noted the extensive international attendance, stating, &#8220;Guests from over 80 countries have come to Lebanon to honor the martyrs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">He also emphasized the importance of honoring the martyrs, remarking that it is &#8220;a divine duty for us to honor righteous humans like Martyr Nasrallah and Martyr Safieddine.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Furthermore, General Fadavi highlighted the significance of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah&#8217;s long-term leadership, mentioning that Nasrallah had led the Resistance Front for over 30 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Iran\u2019s steadfast presence at the funeral ceremonies reaffirms its role in the Axis of Resistance as well as the ties between Tehran and Beirut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">As Lebanon grapples with political fractures and economic woes, Tehran\u2019s support ensures Hezbollah remains both a military shield and a political force against Israeli aggressions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The massive turnout of Iranians, despite travel challenges, also underscores the depth of domestic support for Nasrallah and Hezbollah\u2019s cause.
