BEIJING – China’s advancements in the economic and technological fields have been highlighted as the East Asian country gears up to initiate a new phase of its substantial international media exchange program in the first half of 2025.<\/p>\n
A considerable assembly of journalists from dozens of countries around the world, including Iran, is convening in Beijing to participate in the China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) program.<\/p>\n
The China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA) coordinates international events that occur biannually and extend over a period of four months. This initiative is designed to create a platform for media representatives from various nations, particularly those from developing countries, to gain insights into China and examine its developmental progress.<\/p>\n
Participants will acquire a more profound comprehension of China’s history, culture, and contemporary issues through a series of workshops, training sessions, and cultural activities. They will have the chance to exchange their own experiences and viewpoints with their Chinese peers.<\/p>\n
China’s economic development is remarkable. Currently, the advancements in artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and various other sectors in China are impressive. The country has emerged as a leading force in the global transition to green energy. This progress reflects China’s dedication to technological innovation as a fundamental element of its future expansion. The nation’s transition towards high-quality development, emphasizing innovation and sustainability, is poised to impact the global economy significantly. \u00a0In late December last year, the World Bank issued a report and raised its forecast for China’s economic growth in 2024 and 2025.\u00a0 The World Bank revised its forecast for China’s 2024 economic growth upward to 4.9 percent, a 0.1 percentage point increase from its June prediction. This comes despite attempts by Western countries, in particular the United States to hinder China\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n
Since assuming office in January this year, President Donald Trump has shown that he will pull no punches in \u201ccountering China\u201d. Trump has imposed a 10% tariff on all imports from China, on top of existing levies.<\/p>\n
Nonetheless, China is progressing towards modernization and economic advancement through a distinct approach, diverging from the Western-centric model and concept of development. China\u2019s remarkable progress is rooted in its own historical context and experiences, as well as its unique internal circumstances and cultural foundations.<\/p>\n
China, currently the second-largest economy globally, is projected to become the world’s leading economy by the year 2035.<\/p>\n
China’s swift economic advancement and flourishing prosperity serve not only as a source of inspiration for developing nations but also present an alternative economic and political framework in contrast to the Western-centric model of development.<\/p>\n
