The gesture underscores Iran\u2019s strategic push to expand partnerships in a region historically dominated by U.S. influence, leveraging shared opposition to Western sanctions and a mutual drive for economic diversification. \u00a0<\/p>\n
In his message, Araghchi highlighted the \u201chistorical relations\u201d spanning over 120 years between Iran and Uruguay, expressing hope for \u201ca new chapter\u201d in bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Islamic Republic of Iran is committed to leveraging opportunities to strengthen relations and mutual benefits for both peoples,\u201d he declared, alluding to untapped economic and diplomatic synergies.<\/p>\n
