It said gunmen got out of a vehicle and opened fire during a funeral procession \u200bat the Hamoud Church in Karak. Al-Mamlaka previously reported seven had been killed \u2060in the attack.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>A video aired on Al-Mamlaka that appeared to be from a security camera mounted on \u200bthe church showed three people firing on the church from a sidewalk and hiding behind trees and \u200ba low wall, before running towards the church&#8217;s entrance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Khaled Burqan, a man who had been attending the funeral, told \u200bAl-Mamlaka that dozens of people had been attending the funeral and at least two men \u2014 one carrying \u200ba rifle and another carrying a pistol \u2014 opened fire on them for several minutes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>There was no immediate claim of responsibility \u200cfor \u2060the attack and Jordanian authorities did not say who was responsible.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tehrantimes.com\/news\/531409\/Six-killed-in-attack-at-church-in-Jordan\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Six people were killed and 28 injured on Friday \u200cwhen gunmen opened fire during a funeral at a church in Jordan&#8217;s Karak governorate, the country&#8217;s Public Security Directorate said in a statement.
