TEHRAN- The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah continues to defend Lebanon\u2019s sovereignty from Israeli ground invasion while also widening offensive operations.<\/p>\n
The movement targeted \u201can explosive materials factory in Hadera, south of Haifa, with a salvo of qualitative rockets\u201d. This marks the first time the factory has been struck.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hezbollah targeted a gathering of \u201cIsraeli enemy army forces in the Doviv barracks with a rocket barrage\u201d.<\/p>\n
Among its other operations on Tuesday, Hezbollah targeted a gathering of Israeli forces in the al-Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills \u201cwith a barrage of qualitative missiles.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Israeli army said that at least ten of its soldiers were injured in battles in southern Lebanon during the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n
On Monday, Hezbollah targeted the Israeli \u201cMeron Base for Aerial Operations Surveillance and Management\u201d with missile salvos in three separate operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hezbollah said it carried out 19 operations in total on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a sign of Israeli failure to cut Hezbollah\u2019s support front for Gaza, the Lebanese resistance movement said all its operations are being waged \u201cin support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and backing their courageous and honorable Resistance and in defense of Lebanon and its people.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The statement detailed \u201cattempts by the Israeli enemy to advance along the Lebanese-Palestinian borders. The operations involved repelling enemy drones and warplanes, as well as targeting enemy military sites, bases, and settlements in northern and central occupied Palestine.\u201d<\/p>\n
The statement goes on to say these attacks involved \u201cdrones targeting gatherings of Israeli enemy forces\u201d.<\/p>\n
Hezbollah said some of the attacks came \u201cin the framework of the warning issued by the Islamic Resistance to several northern settlements\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, Lebanon\u2019s National News Agency said that Israeli occupation forces tried to infiltrate the southern border overnight from the direction of the town of Rmeish, the Khanouk Al-Kassara area.<\/p>\n
The news agency reported that Hezbollah \u201cconfronted it, and the clash continued until dawn today, which forced the enemy to retreat after suffering heavy losses.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the Hebrew news outlet Yedioth Ahronoth, Tel Aviv has withdrawn several brigades from the Lebanese front over what it claims is a decision to reach a political solution.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Israeli newspaper has reported that \u201cagainst the background of an assessment by officials involved in the negotiations for a settlement with Lebanon predicting that an agreement may be reached within several weeks, the Israeli military has withdrawn several brigades from southern Lebanon \u2018to refresh.\u2019 The ground operation is expected to continue for at least several more weeks, as the military awaits a decision to be made by the political establishment.\u201d<\/p>\n
As things stand, Israeli ground forces have been unable to take full control of a single village or town on the Lebanese border more than a month after waging a\u00a0land invasion.
