TEHRAN \u2013 The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon has stated that the Israeli regime has not succeeded in achieving its objectives, despite its egregious breaches of international law and humanitarian norms.<\/p>\n
Mojtaba Amani shared these comments on his X account, marking the 40th day since the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late leader of Lebanon\u2019s Hezbollah Resistance Movement, and Major General Abbas Nilfoooshan, a senior IRGC Qods Force advisor in Lebanon, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
In his message written in Arabic, Amani noted that following Nasrallah’s assassination in September, the Resistance has effectively intensified its attacks against Israeli positions in the occupied territories.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIsrael has grown weaker and has become more entrenched in its crises,\u201d Amani underscored.<\/p>\n
The Iranian envoy emphasized Israel’s stagnation to spotlight the strength and resolve of the Lebanese people and their allies in facing external pressures.\u00a0He also reaffirmed Iran’s dedication to backing Lebanon and its continuous endeavors to challenge Israeli influence while preserving its sovereignty.<\/p>\n
The Israeli military has been laying waste to much of southern Lebanon in the past months without managing to secure any positions on Lebanese soil. The regime assassinated Nasrallah on September 27 thinking his martyrdom would behead Hezbollah and hinder its anti-Israeli operations. The Resistance group only increased the number and intensity of its attacks after the loss of its leader.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Israel’s deadly military campaign in Gaza has been deemed largely unsuccessful too, failing to weaken Hamas after a year of relentless violence. The regime’s only notable achievement was the accidental murder of Palestinian leader Yahya Sinwar after 12 months of war.
