TEHRAN \u2013 Iranian president has underscored the vital role of healthcare professionals in the country, while emphasizing a commitment to fairness and support for vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n
He made the remarks on Wednesday, during a ceremony celebrating the contributions of nurses.<\/p>\n
In his speech, President Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of taking an informed, scientific approach to national issues, highlighting teamwork and collective responsibility.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are all one team,\u201d he said, \u201cand if we work together, we can achieve progress.\u201d He expressed gratitude for the work of nurses and other healthcare workers, acknowledging their role in improving the nation\u2019s well-being.<\/p>\n
The president used the event to articulate his vision of social justice, particularly in healthcare, pledging government support to those often overlooked.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re committed to advancing fairness in our institutions,\u201d Pezeshkian stated, \u201cespecially for the underprivileged.<\/p>\n
Our duty is to ensure that resources and attention go to those who are most at risk.\u201d He highlighted that the poor and underserved face higher risks of illness and mortality. \u201cThese individuals are often unseen and unheard.<\/p>\n
They lack resources and education, and it is the government\u2019s responsibility, especially through the Ministry of Health, to prioritize their needs over those who have money and influence,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Pezeshkian stressed that the government\u2019s mission is not only to identify these issues but to work diligently towards solutions. \u201cOur focus is on fairness and support for the disadvantaged,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWithin the limits of our resources, we are working alongside the healthcare sector to address the challenges facing these communities.\u201d<\/p>\n
