The meeting between al-Sabbagh and Ahmadian is believed to signify an important step towards closer collaboration and alignment of interests between Syria and Iran.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">This high-level engagement followed Tuesday&#8217;s consultations between al-Sabbagh and his Iranian counterpart, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.
