{"id":8966,"date":"2024-11-27T13:23:22","date_gmt":"2024-11-27T09:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.hamsonews.com\/over-1-1b-invested-in-mining-projects-in-over-3-months\/"},"modified":"2024-11-27T13:23:22","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T09:53:22","slug":"over-1-1b-invested-in-mining-projects-in-over-3-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hamsonews.com\/en\/over-1-1b-invested-in-mining-projects-in-over-3-months\/","title":{"rendered":"Over $1.1b invested in mining projects in over 3 months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en.hamsonews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/5264979.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"item-text\">\n<p class=\"summary\">TEHRAN &#8211; Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade has invested $1.1 billion in development and infrastructure projects in the mining and mineral industries sector in the first 100 days since the 14th government took office.<\/p>\n<p>As IRNA reported, the investments made in the mining and mineral industries sector have provided employment opportunities for 2,682 people directly and 7,430 people indirectly.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Deputy Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Mohammadreza Bahraman said Iran\u2019s mining sector requires \u20ac55 billion in foreign investment over five years.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a press conference on the sidelines of the 18th International Exhibition for Mines, Mining, Construction Machinery and Related Industries and Equipment (Iran CONMINE), Bahraman stressed that the investment is needed to ensure achieving the anticipated 13 percent growth outlined in the country\u2019s Seventh Development Plan.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized the importance of attracting external capital to boost the sector. &#8220;This is not about government involvement; our focus must be on drawing in foreign investors,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bahraman announced that Iran&#8217;s House of Mine, which spearheaded the sector\u2019s strategy, plans to participate actively in the 2025 Riyadh mining exhibition in Saudi Arabia to build international collaborations.
