Fewer than 20 ships transited Strait of Hormuz over weekend

Thirteen vessels crossed the strait on Saturday and just four on Sunday, the data shows.

However, the actual number of ships transiting the waterway could be higher as some vessels may have switched off their notification transponders, Al Jazeera suggested.
